Alex, I have never found that to be the case. If any thing dog owners and dog walkers often take initiative to take care of "their" part of the park and keep it clean. It is not uncommon to see people in the off leash areas picking up after others without giving it a second thought.

Do you find that off-the-leash parks are a bit "dirtier" (if you catch my meaning) than on-the-leash parks?

I live in Georgina and there are no off leash parks anywhere!
I am wondering how to go about getting one?

Yee-ha, whoopee, happy dance around the house! So glad that the policies are finally getting dog owners some more legal recreational space. Hope to see still more in Etobicoke, York, North York and Scarborough in the future - so much green space to consider.

Saw the new style of fencing at Greenwood Park, very interesting - looks sturdy and quite attractive.

There are new off-leash areas in the works in northern York Region, if we find our voice and press our case, Municipalities will listen!
