there does not seem to be a gate on two sides of the park. so it is not 100 percent enclosed?

When is this happening? Its already the middle of July & I see nothing when I drive by. Also if this is the park that I think it is when I drive by, ummmmm... its super tiny... better then nothing for sure & I live on the same street so thats a huge plus!!

Anyone have a non-hyper dog that enjoys gently play with an easy to scare dog? Shes super friendly but was mauled before I got her at 6 weeks of age so shes scared of fast movements but likes dogs. She has several senior doggie friends & she gives them kisses & will walk around with them, I just what to upgrade her to "play with a dog". Shes the type that will/can over come a fear & has over come many, but this is the only one I haven't been able to help her with as no one has the right type of dog. Shes not scared of big or small dogs, or dogs that bark in her face, shes a med sized English Shepherd type Dog that is very slim. message me at www.facebook.com/kingrattus You'll know you have the right person as she is my profile pic, Her genes are more so on the Collie (Lassie) side, then the Border Collie or the Australian Shepherd... Shes a tri-colour... Hers hoping to make new doggie friends!

I'm amazed that Botany Hill Park would be chosen when Morningside Park, with its sprawling field area, is right around the corner.

Not that I'm complaining, exactly. In fact, I'm mentally jumping for joy. Botany Hill Park is a 5 minute walk from where I live. As someone who can't drive for medical reasons, having a dog park here in Scarborough, let alone so close to home, is like a dream come true!

This site will have its downfalls, however. The park itself isn't *that* large. I'm very curious to know how much space will be partitioned off. I'm a little worried that we'll end up with a space the size of my backyard... Also, there are a few issues such as a lack of public restrooms. Curran Hall Community Center is *right there*, but it's a small community building and the doors are not always open, especially during the off-peak months.

Regardless, I'm quite thrilled that this area and others will be opening. I'd love to see the space available before the end of the summer. It'll save me a lot of weekend TTC trips (something my dog does not enjoy at all).
